You know how a lot of horror movies use the mysterious bump in the night as a spooky trope? I have to suppose that's only scary to people who don't have cats (or pets in general). The loud, mysterious crash early this morning was immediately followed by the appearance of a cat with that "What? Me? What! I did nothing!" face on.
