Skeleton Cat Monster - Feeping Creatures monster figurine

Here at the House of Feep, it's pretty much Halloween year round. That said, I don't often make Halloween-specific feeps for some reason. My goal this October is to rectify that, so I've been working away on ghosts and vampires and skull monsters.

Of course, I'm going to be out of town for, like, the first half of October, more or less, so posting will continue to be light for awhile. But my plan, my hope, is to spend the couple of weeks in the run-up to Halloween posting tons of pictures of the monsters I've been working on. So! Fear not, there will be many a feep in the near future.

I'm back from Space City Con. It was a great show! I'm a bit worn out, though ... not sure how THAT happened (gaming until 1:30 in the morning might have had something to do with it).

Stick with the hardwood, or put in carpet? Decisions, decisions. (The conundrum, of course, being that it is more delightful to eject hairballs onto carpet and other difficult-to-clean objects, but the snail portion of the snat would rather glide over a nice, smooth surface.)

Bejabalo's Commission

This drawing was a commission I did for a holiday gift. The name and concept for the monster were the invention of the couple, and the girlfriend wanted me to draw it up all fancy as a surprise present for her boyfriend. The monster is called the Bejabalo, so I'm guessing the room it's hanging in is the Bejabalo's den (or possibly restaurant and bar).

Fire Cat Snake and raccoon tracks

The cats of my household are endlessly fascinated by the raccoons that make occasional appearances on the back porch. Thankfully, their only interactions are through panes of glass. The cats don't quite seem to understand that raccoons are lawless brigands who will cut you given half a chance.

This snat is thinking of hopping a train, but it gets dizzy at speeds over 2 miles per hour.

White not a huge fan of large bodies of water (for obvious reasons), the feep cat nevertheless enjoys a city that is covered in cat iconography to go with all the witchiness.

I am back from New York Comic Con and the wilds of the northeast, and I have a ton of pictures to prove it. The snat seemed a bit grumpy this trip. I guess the cat part of it wasn't really thrilled with all the water, but I figured the snail part would dig the moisture. Then I realized it was salt water we were talking about. Ooops.
