Spider-Face Curl and ASG Art Show closing party

So! The closing party for the ASG Art Show, in which I have many feep drawings displayed, will be this Sunday! That's Nov. 1, 2009 at the Hideout (617 Congress Ave) in downtown Austin. Sketchgroup itself is from 2:00 - 6:00 if you want to hang out and draw. The party goes on until closing at 9:00.

There will be booze and food. Any art you buy you can take home with you right then and there. Come hang out, chat with the artists, drink some wine, and buy some art so I don't have to carry all that stuff home!

Tentacled Mandible Cat Monster

While this cat monster only has a hint of spider in it, I still question the wisdom of creating a creature that will both shed and strew cobwebs about the place.

Sadly, it is the wrong time of day for casing out crepuscular critters by the crevice.

Plain ol' bugs are fine and all, but what this feep really prefers is a nice bug quiche (a.k.a., "eggs and legs").

A spider dragon's breath weapon is not entirely unlike silly string. Needless, to say, spider dragons don't get along with fire-breathing dragons all that well.

This morning as I was making coffee I watched a spider on the window ouside as it wrapped up a bug meal. I should make more spider feeps.

Spiderface Ghost

Since this ghost has a spider-like face, and since I had the appropriate props handy, I decided to photograph the feep in a setting befitting a funnel spider. It's not useful as a product shot since you can't see the feep all that clearly, but I really like the image.
