Here at the House of Feep, it's pretty much Halloween year round. That said, I don't often make Halloween-specific feeps for some reason. My goal this October is to rectify that, so I've been working away on ghosts and vampires and skull monsters.

Of course, I'm going to be out of town for, like, the first half of October, more or less, so posting will continue to be light for awhile. But my plan, my hope, is to spend the couple of weeks in the run-up to Halloween posting tons of pictures of the monsters I've been working on. So! Fear not, there will be many a feep in the near future.

Curly Glow-in-the-Dark Ghost ACEO

A little Halloween-themed ACEO for ya, done with glow-in-the-dark paint. Which, by the way, is a huge pain to work with. It's very translucent, so it requires several coats to get a good, bright glow. Maybe I need to try a different brand of paint. Nevertheless, I am pleased with the end result.

It's cloudy this morning, and yet the cats are positioned in their usual sunning spots. Force of habit, or hoping the giant heat lamp in the sky is just running late?

Actually, the snout is rather tapir-like. Perhaps it's been a tentacle tapir masquerading as a bird-monster all this time!

I imagine bioluminescence is not all that helpful when you're trying to evade predators at night. Possibly the cause of extinction for glowing dinos!

Glow Mini Cat Feep

Mini Feeps are tiny little monsters I sell at the various shows I do. They started out as a way for me to use up all the little scraps of clay left over at the end of a feeping session, but it's good to have a low-price entry point for people who are on the fence about buying their first feep.

No relation to Benicio. It has feet, but I made them out of non-glow clay so it would look like it was hovering when it was glowing.
