Squip and Service Advisory

Sorry my posting has been sporadic. I hurt my hand and spending too long on the computer makes it worse, so I have been trying to limit my typing time. Hopefully things shall return to normal next week.

Toothy Squip

This feep looks a bit like something you'd expect to find in the jar rather than on. Floating in formaldehyde, that is.

In fact, that's something I should do one of these days. A feep suspended in mysterious liquid in a jar, so you can show it to your friends and say, "That's what the doctors pulled outta me."

Excercise caution when leaving feeps unattended

One gets the distinct impression that no good is being got up to.

Purple Squip

The squip is unnerved by one-eyed monsters. (Thankfully, it does not generally have access to mirrors.)

Blue Squip

I think this feep, being somewhat alike unto a slug, is hiding from today's frosty weather.

Green Squip

Gotta go take photos today. After it warms up a li'l bit.

Austin Comic Con starts today! This feep, plus many others, will be making its debut at the show.

Road Feeps - The Squip and the Sea

Our final Road Feep for the San Diego trip shall leave us looking wistfully into the ocean, and remembering the 72º daytime weather (Austin, meanwhile is facing down 103º today).

I don't know this for sure, but a squip seems like it may well be the aquatic life stage of some sort of metamorphosing creature.

Have a memorable Memorial Day, should you be so fortunate as to have this holiday off. Self-employment plus deadlines equals a workday for me, so I shall be sequestered inside.

Squips and Etsy

Two new things of note:

1. I had mentioned recently that a new variety of feep has emerged. I've decided it's probably called a "squip," unless it later turns out to be called something else (sorta like brontosaurus and apatosaurus). "Squid whip" is what I'm thinkin' here.

2. I'm going to be migrating the online feep store over to Etsy, and have begun the process by listing the newest batch of feeps on there. You can find the feep Etsy store at http://www.etsy.com/shop/feepingcreatures. Simple enough, no?

Basically, I'm hoping Etsy's craft show vs. eBay's flea market will ultimately prove a better fit for the feeps. I'm sorry to leave my eBay rating behind and have to start again from scratch, but that's not a compelling enough reason in the end. So! We shall see how it goes.
