As you may have noticed, I changed the name of the blog a few days ago. This is a new feep I drew to be the blog mascot. I'm still trying to get the design of image plus text squared away, so bear with me on that. But here it is, the Morning Feep. I'll leave it as an exercise for the viewer to determine whether or not I am a morning person.

Slinkneck Monster

These snow pictures now look a little strange, given how sunny and clear it is (high in the upper 50s today), even though I only took them a couple of days ago. Texas doesn't really do seasons so much.

Austin got a pretty impressive (for Austin) snowstorm the other day. I myself was buried in deadlines, but managed to snap a handful of photos of feeps goggling at the weird white stuff.

Ceramic Whistle Monster

I made this in my high school ceramics class (which means it's probably from 1992 or 1993), I want to say out of earthenware clay, but I really don't remember. It's a working whistle (though I won't claim it produces a particularly refined tone), and you can see the feepness evident in its design even if it predates the official classification of my monsters as "feeps."

Parade o' Feeps

Somewhere or other my dad has the very first feep ever made. I'm home for the Holidays, so I'm going to see if I can find it and photograph it. Yar!
