Striped Snat - Feeping Creatures monster figurine
I'm back from Space City Con. It was a great show! I'm a bit worn out, though ... not sure how THAT happened (gaming until 1:30 in the morning might have had something to do with it).

Feeps at Space City Con: August 10-12, 2012
I'm off to Houston for Space City Con. This will be my first show in Houston in three years, so if you're in H-town this weekend, stop by and say hi!

Striped Snail - Feeping Creatures monster figurine
Clearly this is one of those snails that, as it grows, must find bigger and bigger pieces of discarded candy to live in.

I updated the Feeping Creatures Etsy Store yesterday with a bunch of new listings, including new figurines and new original art. Just so's ya know!

Swirl Mollusc

Wheatsville went surprisingly well. Surprising, because with the cold and the rain I was not at all sure there'd be much of a turnout. And I do think overall traffic was down, but the people who came out were determined shoppers.
I will be listing the new merch (shirts! mugs! shot glasses!) in the eBay store this week, though I am almost out of mugs and will need to reorder.
Oh, and to the little girl who accidentally broke a feep yesterday, and whose parents made her pay for it: I just wanted to say I felt bad for you, though your mom and dad were doing the right thing. The truth is, I've had kids break my stuff before, and they usually try to slip the broken feep back onto the table without anyone noticing, and then slink away. I'm really proud of you for owning up to what happened. I didn't argue with your parents since they're obviously doing a good job, but I'm not mad at you and I don't think the feep is, either.

Conical Mollusc

Wheatsville Arts Festival approacheth! This weekend, Dec. 5-6, from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM both days. Guadalupe & 30th, spread out across several local businesses (I'll be outside I ♥ Video). This is in Austin, of course. The weather should, in theory, be relatively pleasant.
My plan is to pick up the new mugs, shirts, and shot glasses tomorrow, so I will have them at the show. Rah!
