Feeping Creatures Monster Marble necklace

Sometimes you just need to be serenaded by a little yellow-eyeballed monster, ya know?

Round Rattler

Just a friendly reminder, should you be considering giving the gift of feep this holiday season, that shipping times slow down at this time of year due to the general volume of mail being handled by the dear ol' USPS, so it's best to get your orders in soon to ensure a timely arrival. Head this way for your feeply needs:

Road Feeps - Orange Round with New York fauna

This feep manages to find a dwelling in Manhattan that's the right size for the price.

Tiger Rodent

The tiger rodent practices its angrycute snarl, using a classic feep as inspiration.

Bug-eyed Round Monster

I just added this critter, plus quite a few others, to the Feeping Creatures Etsy store. Observe!

Orange Round

In every fantasy adventure you gotta have a bridge of bones.

Bugged-Out Round

As you can see, I did indeed get photos of the new feeps done. I'm not listing these on Etsy right away, though, because ...

They're going to be featured in a Feeping Creatures art show at Austin Books during the month of May. If you're in town, I urge you to check it out!

Feeps and Giant Fuzzy Caterpillar - victory!

The final decision: one brave feep will stand for a photo with the possibly very dangerous fuzzy caterpillar, while the rest will back away to a safe distance, lest the flash enrages the beast.

Feep Committee

As with any situation in which one is uncertain what to do, one can indefinitely delay taking action by forming a committee.

Orange Round and Giant Fuzzy Caterpillar

Getting ready to round the corner, a-jitter with nervous anticipation. Prepare for slapstick in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...

Spiral Round

Got a few feeps made yesterday, trying to use up the Kato polyclay I got as an experiment. Turns out the advantages it has over Premo are slim and not worth the disadvantages. So, back to Premo for me.

Curly-Horned Rounds Monster Wine Charm

This feep pairs well with either red or white (but probably not rosé).

Spiral Round Monster

This feep is quite fond of a joint that's basically just a little hole in the wall.

Red Round Coil

I have lately been thinking once more that I need to have fake Latin names for these things. "Round Red Coil" doesn't sound all that exciting, but Rotundus Rooibos twistonomicus might. But my perfectionist streak would want the Latin to be Correct, even if I personally wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

The Feep Factory

I was feeping up to the last minute in prep for STAPLE! today, so there are many new feeps to see. But unless you come to the show you'll have to wait until I get a chance to process the photos. :)

Ceramic Beholder Jar

Here's another high school ceramics class monstrosity. The lumpiness kind of works with the disgusting shape a beholder usually has, though I clearly didn't have the patience for all 10 eyestalks. I think in general my high school art classes were exercises in plowing through assignments rather than enjoying the creative possibilities of a given medium. My skill level improved dramatically in college, where things were a bit more freeform. So, while I would never present a piece like this for sale, it's interesting to look back on it to get a sense of my progression.

Green Round with Curly Tentacles

I suppose this one has vaguely earmuff-like appendages.

Mugging for the Camera

Just engaged in the hard labor of testing out a prototype, that's all. Nothing to see here.

Horned Round Monster

Sometimes it's just easiest to let crazy cousin Milt go on about little plastic bags as you quietly step away.
