Fiery Tentacle Twist - Feeping Creatures monster figurine
Waiting for random knights to show up and storm the castle can be lonely, dull work. Hence, the typical tentacle twist composes angsty poetry to pass the time.
Waiting here in solitude,
Upon the loneliness I brood.
Guarding treasures is my lot,
But such trinkets please me not.
I yearn only to be free
of self-imposed captivity!
As you may have gleaned, the tentacles are really just for show. The monster intends to slay the hero with bad verse.

Black & Blue Striped Tentacle Twist - Feeping Creatures monster figurine
When sneaking into the basements of Lego castles, it is best to be on your guard for slithery, squiggly things that may be lurking amidst the bricks.

Blue & Black Tentacle Twist

Lately I've been working on getting some older pieces listed in the Feeping Creatures Etsy Store, mostly flat art that's been hidden away in folders, waiting for me to get around to dealing with it.
I've also been upgrading photos of pieces that only had one image, or whose images were too small. What I have learned is that my camera is kinda crap. I mean, I did get it for free several years ago, so perhaps I should not be surprised, but an upgrade of equipment may well be in the offing.

Road Feeps - Tentacle Larva at Grant's Tomb

It is, according to the posted information, the largest mausoleum in the United States. We got there right as it was closing, so only had but a moment to peek inside. It was rather interesting to contrast Grant's Tomb with the mausoleums in Mt. Auburn Cemetery (where we had just been), and which until now had seemed impressively elaborate and ornate.
No, for this you gotta be more than just rich.

Road Feeps - Red & Black Tentacle Larva in Salem, MA cemetery

Sure, cemeteries are filled with ghosts and ghouls, but one must stop and appreciate the little horrors as well.

Ren Feeps - Chess

Tentacle Twists are genetically predisposed to becoming chess grandmasters. Managing all those tentacles makes you good at keeping track of what needs to go where when, and how.
