The Meeting of the Snails

I already posted this one on the Feep MySpace blog, but it's one of my favorites. The best thing about photography for me is those random, unstaged moments you occasionally have the luck to capture.

Brown Narwhal

I'd made a narwhal feep before, but at one point looked at some photos of actual narwhals and realized they were much cuter than I'd given them credit for. This one is an attempt at a more realistic but still feepy narwhal.

Introductory Post

I already have a Feeping Creatures blog on MySpace, as well as a dedicated Feeping Creatures website, and I intend to keep up with those as well, but this one is for something a little different and I think Blogger has a better setup for what I want to do with this.

The point of this blog is simply that I have a metric ton of feep photos I've accumulated that I'm not using. They're mostly pictures I've taken for listings in my eBay store, but those listings disappear after the feep sells, and anyway eBay is a terrible setup for simply looking at pictures. The images I'm going to be posting here are from my collection of otherwise unused photos, and I plan to try to post a new feep everyday so there will be a regular influx of new content. I don't post all my feep photos on the main site because it just gets overwhelming to sift through all that if all you're trying to do is get a basic idea of the feeps, and the images get a little bit repetitive as I return to certain styles. So the main site is really more about a representative gallery than an archive. This blog will be the archive.

That's it! I hope you'll check back here regularly to see what new monsters have squirmed their way in front of the camera or onto the paper.

Cheers,

Dylan
