I named this feep because of its color. I took this photo in late fall (as you can probably tell by the decorative gourds), and couldn't resist posing it with the feep-like gourd. In fact, it's possible I might have maybe in some respects purchased that particular gourd for its feep-like qualities. Ahem.
Anyway, more feep taxonomy. This is a mere "snoot," as opposed to a "von snoot," since the snoot doesn't curl all the way in. Got that? It'll be on the test.
