Giant Purple Squid Necklace

Okay, so "giant" in this case means about 3 inches, but that's larger than my average pendant. Semantics! [shakes fist]

Purple Snat (Snail Cat)

The Snat is a cross between a snail and a cat. My cat is more like a slug, really, but I seem to be on a quest to hybridize cats with all manner of garden creatures. Let's see, we've got cat slugs, cat snakes, snats ... who knows what else shall result from my evil experiments.

Skeptical Nautilus

Most of the feeps seem to be surprised or alarmed or somewhat manic, but every so often you'll get a feep that just isn't impressed by anything.

Decapus ACEO

It's like an octopus, only it's got ten tentacles, so it's a Decapus. It's also one of my ACEO auctions on eBay that's ending this weekend.

Blue Trihorned Sea Monster

This is one of the very first feeps I made.

Dungeons & Dragons Barbarian Feep

Someone had recently asked me to post pictures of a commission I did a couple of years ago (2005, I think?) where I made a set of Feep Dungeons & Dragons miniatures. I've been meaning to post them since forever anyway, so this seems like a good excuse.

All the figs are very tiny, as they have to fit in a 1" x 1" square. They're made of SuperFlex Sculpey. I'm starting with the Barbarian since it begins with "b" and is therefore the first file in the folder.

Long-Eared Gold Wine Charm Monster

I added a new gallery to my main website yesterday, a showcase of many of the Wine Charm Feeps I've made.

Feeps make for good wine charms since they can be quite small, and they can vary both in color and type of monster so you've got multiple axes of distinction. One of the craft stores here sells plain wooden wine gift boxes, so one of these days I'm going to get one and paint monsters all over it.

Anklyosaurus

I was obsessed with dinosaurs as a kid, and the anklyosaurus was one of my favorites.

Baby Horned Devil Monster

Ah, they look so innocent at that age.

Antennae Sphere

A sphere. With antennae. And eyeballs. See? NOT WEIRD.

Bird Bulb

Sorry for not posting yesterday. I was out at the Nerd Flea Market at Domy Books in Houston selling Feeps to the passersby. I shall post a second Feep to make up for it!

First, the Bird Bulb, one of the weirder Feeps I've made. Not, of course, that any of the Feeps are really weird or anything, but, you know. Yeah.

Sushi

Well, the "upload image" button appears not to be working at the moment. Why they gotta go changin' stuffs?

Anyway, this feep might seem monstrous to some people, but I suspect to others (specifically the sort of people who would buy and eat Freeze-Dried Squid Snacks, of whom I know many) it looks quite tasty. Hence the name.

Green Binocular Tentacle Twist

Most Tentacle Twists have but a single eye. Occasionally, though, multiple eyes will crop up, as in this two-eyed example. A genetic mutation, perhaps? And what's the evolutionary advantage of the one-eyed model that makes it so dominant?

Green Bean Cat

That's Green (Bean Cat), by the way, not (Green Bean) Cat. Bean Cats are one of my standard feep doodles. Typically they don't have legs or tails, but for some reason this one sprouted (ha ha!) some appendages.

This is one of a new batch of ACEOs I've been working on and will be up for auction soon.

Longhorn Steer Dragon

SERVICE ADVISORY NOTE: My internet access over the weekend is going to be intermittent at best, so the Daily Monster will return on Monday, May 14.

Purple Raspberry Monster

It sometimes takes me awhile to come up with names for things, and I have only just decided that monsters who are sticking their tongues out need to be called Raspberry Monsters. Now I should go fix any tags that need fixing. Sigh.

Black Glow Cat Snake

The belles of the ball (or the feeps of the fete?) at CAPE were the cat snakes. I sold all the ones I'd brought, including the one pictured here.

Glow-in-the-Dark Stripey Tentacle Monster

This was originally a stencil I'd cut, ostensibly for making glow-in-the-dark greeting cards. After about three passes with the glow spraypaint the stencil could take nae more. But since it looked rather nifty on its own, I decided to mount it on black matte board and fill in around it with black paint. Then I streaked some glow ink over the oval matte to give it that sort of haunted rustic feel.

It's not technically a drawing at this point, but it's flat art, so "drawings" will do as a category for now.

Paddlesaur

Sorry for the service interruption; I was out at CAPE all day yesterday. I'll post two monsters to make up for it. First, the Paddlesaur.

Black Squid Necklace

I make a lot of feeps that aren't just figurines. I'm not sure what it is, but a part of my brain wants to accomodate people who want art that's useful, so I also make necklaces, magnets, wine charms, and so forth.

Mini Purple Kraken Feep

Beware the Kraken, swimming through the ... trees?
