Monster School

And so, for Halloween, I give you a schoolhouse filled with monsters. Appropriate, is it not?

Blue Squid Necklace

Thanks to everyone who came out to the art opening last night. We had a great turnout! I'm sure it was the art, of course, and not just the lure of ice cream. I forgot to take pictures, naturally, but one of the other artists was snapping away, so hopefully he'll pass those photos around and I can link to them here.

Now, I really and truly mean to get an eBay store update done today. All these feeps you've been seeing posing with the skull are new, I just haven't had a chance to list them.

Swirl Cyclops

Ride on the feep tank!

By the way, if you're in Austin you should know that tonight the group art show I'm in is having its opening reception. It's at Amy's Ice Cream at 6th and Lamar (right around the corner from Waterloo Records) and the fun starts at 7:30. Stop by, have some ice cream, check out the art, and chat with the artists!

One of these feeps is cautious and deliberate, the other carefree and impulsive. Naturally, they have no choice but to form an investigative team.

Tentacle Nose

This feep is not actually an arch villain, but rather has evolved to mimic a curled, waxed mustache as a defense against predators. Birds, snakes, and toads, for fear of being tied to the train tracks and laughed at maniacally, will avoid preying on the tentacle nose feep if possible.

Tusked Fire Monster ACEO and another show

Turns out I'm going to be in another show this month in addition to the Amy's Spooky Art Show. This one's going to be at the Hideout at 7th & Congress, and is an Austin Sketch Group show. It should be going up today, and will run through the month of October. Not sure yet about if and when there will be a reception, but I'll let you know when I find out.

Curly Arms would like you to know that I have four pieces in a group art show at Amy's Ice Cream on 6th street here in Austin. It's up now and will run through October, with a reception on Oct. 23. The theme is Spooky Art, so stop by and check out everyone's creepy creations if you get a chance.
