Feep Sprite in black & white

Photo by Dan Machold. Dan and I recently got together for a new round of feep photos, of which this is one. Lots more to come!

Spiky Purple Heron

Surely that sign applies only to human-type beings?

Green Cat Monster and Sof' Boy

Photo by Dan Machold. Sof' Boy by Archer Prewitt. Cat feep monster by me, of course.

Striped Glow Onion

Beware of bioluminescent vegetables. With tentacles.

Surprised Long-Eared Slug

I wonder if maybe it's a vampire slug, and the surprise is the sudden shaft of intense sunlight. Oops!

Tentacle Nautiloid Wine Charm

Does red or white pair best with tentacles?

Red Lister

Note: not actually made of cheese. DO NOT EAT.

Blue & Silver Kraken

Got any ships you need devoured? Eh?

Purple Ant

At a show a few years ago a little boy was telling me which feeps he liked and which ones he didn't like (a few of them he thought were scary). He asked which ones I liked and didn't like. I am fond of all my feeps, but he demanded an answer to "didn't like," so I picked out this ant since I despise actual real-life ants.

The boy's dad came by shortly thereafter, at which point the boy informed him, "He doesn't like that one because he hates ants!" I think I may have tried to explain what I meant by "didn't like," but dad was doing that parental nodding thing and didn't really seem to be in need of further clarification.

Orange Snake

I don't make a whole lot of snakes because it turns out many people's snake phobia extends even into the small and cute and make of clay. The feep snakes tend to go home with snake enthusiasts, but these people are greatly outnumbered by the, uh, anti-enthusiasts.

Blue & Grey Onion

Feep Onions are partial to books about things that begin with "R."

Innocent

That loud crash had absolutely nothing to do with me. In fact, what crash? I have no idea what you're talking about.

Horned Blue Dragon

I'm trying to think of what feep dragons would hoard. Not gold, surely, but maybe microchips? Or seemingly insignificant yet vital objects like the tiny screws that hold your glasses together?

Green Bull

The Running of the Feep Bulls never really caught on as an event due to the fact that feeps have a tendency to be stationary. Lacks the drama, I guess.

Deep Sea Feep

Rather plankton-like, yet large enough to eat plankton. It could be the plankton version of the bigger fish eating a smaller fish eating a still smaller fish theme.

Blue Rat

Perhaps rats make good feeps because of the beady eyes. Oh, and the concentrated mischief.

Toothy Purple Slug

Slugs need teeth, see, so they can chew on bright red berries.

Curious Dervish Necklace

And now I wonder what's in this crevice.

Longhorned Raspberry

And here we have a feep actively in the process of getting into the works.

Silver Grimace Ghost

Grimacing, obviously, because of the bright light. This is what you get for staying out too late haunting people.

Gossiping Devil

Meet by the old tree stump for the latest dish about the Von Snoot family.

Horned Purple Blob

New feeps are indeed coming out of the woodwork, ha ha. I'm hoping to have an eBay Store update done sometime this weekend.

Purple & Orange Curly-Horned Blob

Sadly, this photo depicts a fantasy. I have not yet been able to train the feeps to bring me coffee.

Tuesday, January 8, 2008

Purple Swirl Nautilus

You know how some people sing better in the shower? Well, some feeps sing better nestled amidst a bunch of gourds.

Monday, January 7, 2008

Glow Lamprey

The Lamprey Feep has been known to attach itself to a computer and feed upon the circuitry. This is why you should never immerse your computer in coastal sea water.

Blue & Maroon Glow Eyestalk

One of the few feeps with eyelids, interestingly enough. The feep never sleeps!

Candy Corn Dragon

This dragon gets its unique coloring from, of course, eating lots of chocolate candy corns.

Green & Blue Twist

Exercise caution when tending the yard, as tentacle twists have been known to be found lurking in the ground cover.

Eyes & Tentacles

I just made the first feeps of 2008 last night, and thought I'd go back into the mists of time and post a picture of one of the very earliest feeps (this one was made in 2004).

Twisty Blue Glow Lizard

Being glow-in-the-dark does make it a bit harder to hide from predators after you've been sunning yourself all day.

Horned Copper Blob

Happy 2008 from the Feeps! May your year be replete with multitudes of monsters.
