So, this feep, funny story. Remember all those pictures from the pier in San Diego? (If you don't, hit the "Road Feeps" tag over there in the tag list.)

This one was supposed to be in that set, but I dropped it and its eyeball popped off and rolled into the Pacific Ocean. I have broken feeps before by dropping them during a photo shoot, but never have I lost an eyeball to the world's largest body of water.

So I had to make a new eyeball for it and glue it on. What you see here is Eyeball Mk. II.

Dreamt last night that there was a cluster of trees outside my house that were clearly haunted - they had knotholes that suggested eyes and mouths, and all the branches were reaching out like arms in the same direction (toward the door, presumably to ensnare anyone who emerged).

It was one of those dreams where I was sad to wake up and find out it wasn't true. Sigh. No haunted trees in the front yard for me.

A small pile of feep cutouts await being turned into buttons. Meanwhile, my printer ran out of one of the ink tanks, and of course it was the one tank I don't have a replacement for on-hand.

Button Set the First

Observe the fruits of my labor from this weekend! I have here six different feep buttons (the idea here is that they'll be $1 each or 6 for $5, y'see). My success rate has gone up to about 90%, so I'm definitely getting the hang of this process.

Well, button-making turns out to have a bit of a learning-curve. My efforts yesterday yielded 16 successes and 8 failures. Thankfully, most of the failures were clustered at the beginning of the session, so I should be able to get my hit rate above 66% in the future.
