I was in the process of prepping a new batch of feeps for listing in the eBay store when my camera's battery died, so I wasn't able to finish. Hopefully that'll get sewn up later today. Anyway, here's one of the new feeps.

It's been raining a crazy amount this summer here in Texas, so there are slugs all over the place on the bike trail.

Feep Colony

Another Feep photo by Dan Machold. Apparently some brick structures are actually made in a coral-like fashion, with each little segment being added on by individual monsters living together as a colony. Of course, I think of feeps as being software-based rather than brick-and-mortar, so perhaps this is simply a metaphor for computer memory partitions.

Dungeons & Dragons Fighter Feep

I don't tend to think of the feeps as brute-force types, but if one were to go around swinging swords at people this is what it would look like. Actually, come to think of it, a lot of the feeps take more after the monsters one battles in D&D rather than the heroes one plays.

One of my most popular feeps of all time is Blue Swirl, and probably the most frequently requested commission. I did finally add some new feeps to the eBay Store last night, including the one pictured above. When I got my most recent Blue Swirl request I decided to make a couple more at the same time just to have some handy.

Well, I was hoping to have new pictures and eBay store listings for today, but it's probably not going to happen. I've taken on a pretty big freelance project with a really tight deadline, so it's looking more like Monday for new listings. It really will happen soon, though!

Fire Dragon

I just really like the color combination of the bright reds, yellows, and oranges against the dark greens. This dragon took seven colors of clay to make (the average feep takes two or three, not counting the eyeballs).

Toothy Long-Horned Monster

As part of the Great Feep Restocking of July 2007, I took a number of new figurines over to The Stash to replenish their feep supply. I didn't have enough necklaces, though, so I will likely be returning next week for a subsequent round of infeepenating. Anyway, today's Daily Monster is one of the new Stash feeps.

Also, since I'm in Austin, I'm really ambivalent about calling a class of monsters "Long Horns" when they are clearly not orange cows, but I haven't as yet come up with a better descriptor. I should get on that before Bevo comes pounding on my door demanding protection money.

I've spent pretty much the entirety of the last two days getting everything unpacked and organized, which means I'm finally in a state where I can start working again. This means there will be a small army of new feeps marching your way soon (I think the piccolo is an appropriate instrument for a feep, don't you?).

I found this chunk of sandstone with a seashell impression (and bits of shell) in it and want to figure out a feep scenario to put on it. A turtle is one possibility.

Anxious Devil

As you can tell by the scenery I'm in the midst of moving to a new place, and I feel about the same as this feep right now. AAAAAGH!

Feral Feep

I called this one "Feral" because of the slightly defensive stance, but I'm not quite sure how Feeps would actually go feral. I guess they'd have to run away from their developers' computers and start little colonies where they write their own feature-heavy software.

This is one of those feeps that just came out of nowhere; not really sure what it's supposed to be, other than surprised to be in the spotlight.
